Boxers often run a lot, especially when they are trying to lose weight. A 30 minute light jog once a week will bring you amazing results. You can also add some brisk walking to your routine, which will allow you to keep your heart rate slightly elevated for a certain amount of time.

2) Two-A-Days

On average, people train for one hour per day. Have you ever wondered how boxers are able to get so much shape in such a short time? Training twice a day is the key, even if you are most committed.

This training method is known as two-a-days by fighters. Peak kickboxing boxers train early in the morning before going to work or taking care of family matters. After lunch, they take a break and then resume training in the evening.

Boxers eat clean by paying attention to macronutrients, especially protein, carbohydrates and fat. They weigh every gram of food, and then break it down into science. High-ranking fighters often hire nutritionists to assist them in this area of camp.

4) Plenty of Rest

Rest and recovery are an important aspect of fitness that is often neglected and that fighters take seriously. Rest and recovery are crucial to turning your body into a machine after grueling training sessions.

Although it may seem counterintuitive, consistent naps are great for your body. After every training session, boxers take naps. Boxers usually take a brief nap after their morning strength and conditioning workouts and then wake up for lunch a few hours later. The body is now ready to go for another challenging workout hours later.

It is important to get at least eight hours of sleep each night. To help achieve deep sleep, some fighters take melatonin supplements.

5) Get rid of distractions

Boxers also remove all distractions from camp. Many boxers make huge sacrifices while in camp. They are forced to be away from their families and friends. This allows them to focus on training and optimizing fitness.
